These mangy varmints have been playing havoc throughout the
Southwestern and Western towns, mining camps and stage lines
relieving law-abiding citizens of their gold and jewelry. The
California Marshall's office has identified the 100-plus
members of the international group hailing from Arizona, Australia, California,
Canada, Illinois, Indiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina,
Wisconsin and United Kingdom.
G & F Stagelines, along with local bankers and merchants, have
posted a reward of $500 for each member of "The Mojave
Muleskinners". Be warned that they all have a bad element about them
and should be avoided at all cost. The gang has been frequenting
Calico, Goldfield, Tombstone, and Virginia City. Recently, word has
it they've been seen in the hills of Old Dale, California. We
believe this notorious gang to have entered our state with the
intention of no good. Any persons with any information of where the
gang might be holding out should contact your local law office.
