Second Annual Calico Gunfighter Rendezvous. Gunfighting groups from all over gathered to set up encampments, have gunfights, chili cook-offs, costume contests, cowboy poetry and just get together. The Mojave Muleskinners set up their encampment next to the Calico School House up on the hill. Congratulations to those brave Muleskinners who took the opportunity to finally graduate from the Third grade!  Except, we heard Purgatory was held back.
