2015

The weekend of March 6-8, 2015 was chosen for our 20-year Anniversary celebration! We had such a great turnout of past and present members. We even had folks, Alistair Baranowski and friends,  that had flown in from Scotland! Though many were unable to come, they were certainly there in spirit! One of the weekend highlights was that we had a special guest appearance by Bob Corbin, the state Attorney General, Lost Dutchman authority, Tom Kollenborn and Bob Schoose, the owner/Mayor of Goldfield.

Friday was largely spent setting up tents. On Saturday members, guests and friends started showing up. After a day of gunfights and reminiscing, we all sat down to a catered meal of BBQ brisket and Mexican fare topped off with a cake, especially made for the occasion by Dizzy Lizzy. Take a look at it in our photos! The evening was spent with a nice bonfire and an impromptu jam session.  It couldn’t have been a more fitting end to the day.

Howdy all,

Thank you all for attending the 20 year reunion. It was better than I had imagined it would be. It is truly an honor for me to be part of such a group of people. We fed 78 people, "maybe more" on Saturday evening and another 49 for lunch on Sunday. The music around the bonfire was great and the atmosphere was splendid.

I would like to highlight a few people for contributing above and beyond.

Chili, Thank you for running the shows that weekend at Goldfield. "that was a big task with all the shooters we had"

The folks who set up their encampment and made it comfortable for everyone who entered: Rufus T, Turkey Jack & Madeline LaRouge, London Jack & Shotgun Purdy, Buffalo Shiloh, Smilin Jack, Half Kocked, Pepper & Patience, Aj & Trixy, Purgatory, Gila Jim, Dusty  Bottoms.

Thank you to London Jack for the "leather" event  badges.

Thank you to Shiloh for the "steel" event placards.

Dizzy Lizzy , the cake was wonderful.

Renegade Joe & Miss Rose for the photo album

Mountain Man and Raven for keeping Camp 4 Post open at the Museum & doing a cooking class on Saturday morning.

Kristin aka Charlie Skeeter, for the stagecoach ride.

Cutter, for all your time and energy with preparations, Dinner, Lunch, Website's, and putting up with me.

It was great to see so many members in one place. Some who hadn't seen one another for a long time. Some meeting for the first time. Sharing stories and memories and making some new ones. There's no finer bunch of folks.
